One of the greatest musicians of this era, Prince, passed away on April 21, 2017, at the age of 57. He died at his Paisley Park estate, Minnesota.

He had told his fans at a concert to wait a few days before praying for him a day before his death. Prince rose to fame in 1982 after the release of his hit album “1999.” He went on to win 7 Grammy Awards before his death. He also won an Oscar for the original score for Purple Rain released in 1985.

He had been gone physically for a while but his songs still make a lot of meaning to us and receive airplay on major radio stations. To celebrate this icon here are 10 of his greatest hits.
