In an interview with CW39 Kennedy said, “I just feel absolutely amazing, so blessed to be able to represent Houston at Miss Texas Teen USA.” In advising people inspired by her story she says these words, “I’d advise you to just go for it, Texas [Teen] was my second pageant to ever compete in, Houston being my first and they were both just thing I went for and was confident in.” For her she believes in just being yourself, exactly what she did throughout the pageant.

Due to her recent triumph in the Miss Texas Teen USA, Kennedy is eligible to participate in the Miss Teen USA pageant billed to hold next summer. Congratulations to the new beauty queen.
