The list of nominees for the Billboard Music Awards 2019 are out and female rapper, Cardi B leads the trail with 21 nominations. Last year she was voted as the Number 1 female artist and she misses the record of nominations by its whiskers. The record is held by both The Chainsmokers and Drake, who had 22 nominations each.
Asides leading the pack by a number of nominations, her nominations are spread across 18 categories, which also happens to be the highest this year. She competes against herself in three categories, Top Selling Song, Top Hot 100 Song, and Top Collaboration. She also received two nominations each in three different categories.
The artists with the second-highest nominations are Post Malone and Drake, both with 17 nominations each. Travis Scott follows with 12 and XXXTENTACION with 10 nominations.
