The 2018 Emmys are quickly around the corner and celebs from our favorite shows have earned nominations for this year’s award show. On Thursday, the nominations were announced and some big names are in the running.
Donald Glover’s series “Atlanta” continues to be a hit, and also a favorite during the award season. The show has been nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series, and Donald Glover has earned a nomination for Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.
As everyone anticipates the return of HBO’s hit series “Insecure,” the shows lead and creator Issa Rae walked away with a nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.
Other nominees include Tiffany Haddish, Viola Davis, Tracee Ellis Ross and Sterling K. Brown.
The 2018 Emmys take place on September 17th.
